30 gowns IN 30 DAYS: Day 1 – infant shower

pleased March!  With the official welcome of spring this month, I’m very pumped to begin my 30 gowns in 30 Days series where every day for the month of March, I’ll be publishing a preferred spring or Summer dress solely on instagram.  Each publish will have a particular style in mind—the ideal gown for St. Patrick’s Day, my favorite Easter dress, the very best gown for a summertime client meeting, the ideal warm weather condition Sunday brunch dress, as well as so on!

As you may recall, I asked you to fill out a survey a couple months back which included concerns about what material you’d like to see much more of on Memorandum.  One concern in specific asked which clothing products you care about the most, as well as by far your top response was dresses!  With warmer temps around the corner as well as a bevy of spring as well as summertime festivities in tow, I believed March would be the ideal time to amp up the gown material as well as share gowns that correspond to every event all of us deal with during these warmer months.

More than just sharing my preferred gowns for spring as well as Summer, I’m hoping this series can serve as a resource to assist navigate all of the warm weather condition events that commonly slip up on us.  If you’re anything like me (queen of procrastination) work as well as life commonly get in the method of planning ahead for all of the holidays, weddings, barbecues, as well as other events that happen during the sunny months.  Before you understand it, you’ve got a business picnic or a black-tie wedding in two days, as well as you’re lying on your bedroom floor contemplating the strain of bubonic afflict you ought to tell your friends/family/coworkers you’ve contracted to prevent going to since you “have nothing to wear.”

But even worse than feeling like you don’t have the best gown to wear, is feeling like you really don’t even understand what the suitable gown is for the occasion.  Holy panic button.  This terror is no joke.  Exhibit A: What the heck do you wear to a infant shower?!

I’m starting the series off today with the ideal infant shower dress, because Rich’s sibling is having a infant young boy this Spring, which will be the very first infant on either side of our families.  In addition to not having welcomed any nieces or nephews before (or at least none that I understand of… KIDDING, MOM), none of my finest good friends have had infants yet either.  So, up until now, proper infant shower outfit was completely foreign to me.

Whether you’re going to your very first infant shower, your very first black-tie wedding, or your very first dressy garden party, I got you, boo.  With this series, my hope is that “how to fake your own kidnapping” will no longer be your google browse term of option when faced with the concern of what to wear to an impending barbecue at your boss’s house.

To begin this series as well as provide you all of the juicy deets, I’m sharing day one’s infant shower gown right here on the blog today.  From right here on out, I’ll be sharing the gowns solely on instagram (@maryorton), with links to both the gown I’m using as well as extra gowns that I believe are ideal for the event all linked through LikeToKnow.it.  I’ll likewise be sharing extra special material with my email subscribers, so if you haven’t registered yet, certainly get in on it here!
